Minors Consent Policy
This policy explains how animalshelteer.com handles bookings involving travellers under 18, how parent or guardian consent is collected, how we minimise personal data, and why personalised advertising is never directed at minors.
1. Scope and who may order
Our services are offered to adults. Contracts for stays, travel legs, and the planning fee are concluded with persons aged 18 or over. A traveller under 18 may take part only with the prior written consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Provider details, price, booking and payment terms and cancellation rules are disclosed before any order is placed, as required by Law of Ukraine No. 675-VIII 'On Electronic Commerce' dated 3 September 2015 and Law of Ukraine No. 1023-XII 'On Consumer Protection' dated 12 May 1991.
2. Consent and supervision
For each minor traveller we ask the parent or guardian to confirm identity, relationship to the minor, the trip dates and destination, and consent to supervision arrangements. Where a package or festival trip is booked, tour-operator status, contract and financial-guarantee information and insurance or visa responsibilities are disclosed under Law of Ukraine No. 324/95-VR 'On Tourism' dated 15 September 1995. Consent may be withdrawn at any time before departure by writing to us.
3. Data minimisation
We collect only what is needed to arrange the trip: the minor's name, date of birth, travel document data and essential health or dietary notes relevant to safety, plus the guardian's contact details. We do not collect more than required, keep it only as long as necessary, and process it on the basis of guardian consent and legal obligation under Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VI 'On Personal Data Protection' dated 1 June 2010.
4. Advertising
Personalised advertising, behavioural profiling and marketing tags are not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly build advertising profiles of users under 18. All advertising is identifiable and claims about festivals, prices and availability are truthful and substantiated in line with Law of Ukraine No. 270/96-VR 'On Advertising' dated 3 July 1996. Non-essential cookies and analytics operate only with prior informed consent under Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VI 'On Personal Data Protection' dated 1 June 2010 and Law of Ukraine No. 1089-IX 'On Electronic Communications' dated 16 December 2020, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
